The patent for “Projection device for obtaining light and colour effects” was filed by A.G. Kurochkin in Moscow April 22, 1930 Moscow. In his application certificate, the author stated that his device was supposed to be used to “obtain light and colour effects during the performance of musical works.” Patent date: October 31, 1934
