On April 10, 1927, a lecture-concert by Lev Theremin “New ways of musical creativity” took place in the Great Hall of the State Academic Philharmonic. The poster announced, among other things, “control of sound by free movement of the hands in space,” as well as a demonstration of “the technical capabilities of combining music and colour, music and gesture, music and touch, music and smell.”
