In the period from 1931 to 1933, G. I. Gidoni published three brochures with light-colour parts for the works of A. S. Pushkin: “The Stone Guest”, “Faun and the Shepherdess”, “Leda”. All three works were intended for light theatre and light concert performance and, according to the author’s concept of the Art of Light and Colour, they represented the direction of light theatre and light recitation. The light-and-colour part for “The Stone Guest” was published under the auspices of the Russian Theatre Society and “by order of the laboratory of the Art of Light and Colour,” the only employee of which was G. I. Gidoni.
