On the cover of his book about the artist G. Courbet, G. I. Gidoni placed the last known version of his light-coloured remote control in colour. The principle of colour organisation and the light intensity indicators indicated in the diagram give some idea of the capabilities of the device created by Gidoni. The Luce scale (vertically) adjusted the light intensity: from the conditional point A, located outside the keyboard and meaning complete darkness, to O – dazzling maximum illumination. The eight gradations of illumination in the diagram are numbered with Roman numerals. Three Colour columns (with Arabic numerals), based on the author’s explanations, represented the general range of colours: 1, 2, 3 – yellow; 4, 5, 6 – orange; 7, 8, 9 – red; 10, 11, 12 – purple; 13, 14, 15 – blue; 16, 17, 18 – blue; 19, 20, 21 – green; 22, 23, 24 – greenish-yellow.
