The film, set to music by Georgy Sviridov, was made using an original hydrotype-printing process. It was the first light-music film released theatrically in the USSR. Plans for a wider release were halted by institutional barriers. Special models were built for filming. “Small Triptych” received a diploma at an international film festival.
